MINIMALIST LIFESTYLE, WRONG?

Most of today's young people have an exaggerated lifestyle, but there are also young people who are starting to think and turn to a minimalist lifestyle. A good thing isn't it? The good thing about this minimalist lifestyle change is that it teaches us to be practical human beings.
So then, what is a minimalist lifestyle? According to Break the Twitch, minimalism is a lifestyle that focuses on minimizing distractions that can keep us from doing only the things that really matter. Meanwhile, according to Joshua Becker, author of Becoming Minimalist, minimalism is about getting what makes us happy and eliminating what doesn't. From this understanding we can know that minimalist life is "a simple or practical lifestyle or simply throwing away something you don't really need". For example, screenshots on our cellphones that are taken thinking they will be needed but in fact never opened will eventually fill up the cellphone memory. Another example is buying a backpack with a different model with the excuse that it will be used later but in fact it is not used at all instead it piles up in the bag storage.
Minimalism can be used for everything, not just limited to products, but includes fashion, social media, use of gadgets and the internet. Eating now minimalist has also penetrated digital. Minimalism does not only cover items that are not needed and then thrown away, but also includes "when we buy new, similar items, a number of the same items and the same type must be removed". Yes, "don't accumulate goods and don't use goods excessively".
From what has been explained, we can see that it is not wrong to have a minimalist lifestyle. In fact, in this way we are able to create space and time that is more useful than just wasting it. The question arises whether choosing a minimalist lifestyle is limited and creates boundaries? Of course not, so living a minimalist life is not limiting but organizing and giving more space for useful things.
OK, so what? Still unsure about starting a minimalist lifestyle?
